Review on πŸ–₯️ Asus VA27EHE Monitor: Frameless 1920X1080P, 75Hz Refresh Rate, Adaptive Sync, Flicker-Free | Buy HDMI Monitor Online by Eduardo Jacobs

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I should have bought 2 of these. It's more than it's worth

A few months ago I bought a 27" Acer KA272 bi monitor from another seller for $200. The website said it was a new arrival so I figured it would be updated and improved. I needed another monitor and the hunt for a sharper, clearer and cheaper monitor started all over again.I spent a whole 4 days looking for all types of monitors,curved,gaming,2k,4k etc.I only used them for working and coding.I didn't need a high end monitor for this. But there was no money and a curved monitor was needed. I wanted a 27" IPS frameless monitor with a decent refresh rate of 60Hz or higher, a resolution of 1920x1080 or higher with at least 2 years warranty as cheap monitors get a lot of complaints about dead pixels. Also it should match the dimensions of the Acer monitor I already have so they don't look uneven who n they sit together. It annoys me when the screens are uneven. I saw this at Revain and found it among the cheapest 27 inch monitors currently on the market. I wanted something that would give me a Displayport option along with an HDMI port as my docking station only has 1 HDMI port and I needed to connect 2 monitors to my work laptop. I looked for this model on the Asus website and found that there was a newer model for the same price, the VZ279HE, which had a displayport in addition to HDMI. But it wasn't available anywhere. It was released in April 2017 and VA27EHE was released in December 2019. So it wasn't worth buying the old version just because of the porting. The other competitor was the ViewSonic VX2756, which had DisplayPort and a great 3 Lyra warranty, but lost 1 inch in overall height. After searching on all sites I finally bought the VA27EHE. It arrived the next day as expected. All. as expected, the dimensions matched the stand. The screen was well lit, 250 cd/sq. mm, no dead pixels, anti-reflective coating, nice matte finish. I immediately noticed that its frame is thinner than the Acer's, it's thinner and the stand seems stronger. The screen is beautiful from edge to edge and there are no dead pixels or anything like that. The spec says nothing and I can't find it anywhere, but my sound driver says the monitor has speakers. I do not know where. And leans! And is it VESA compliant? I went back to the site where I bought my $199 Acer to see if I could return it and buy another one. I went through the return window, so of course I couldn't, but it was a darn good feature in a $150 monitor. I love it and would recommend it to anyone looking to buy a 27 inch monitor in this price range. .
