Good steering stabilizer. I like that the stabilizer bar folds out. The set looks good, is well made and consists of very high quality components. The rep said if the kit is genuine then the hydraulic shock absorber is most likely made by Blistein. I believe this is a genuine Mopar parts kit and I have no doubt it will last. The kit I received looks identical to the catalog photos. However, this is where the fun ends abruptly. Clearly someone at Mopar did not design this kit for use outside of the dealer network. 1) It came with no instructions. And that doesn't mean they just forgot to turn them on, but - *no instructions provided* period. I've looked online, called dealers, spoken to parts and service reps, and even gone as far as calling Mopar. There just isn't a guide. (As of January 2019) I finally decided to search the web for the highest quality images I could find to put together. (Hint - they can be found in PDF product catalogs.) 2) A Mopar rep told me that dealer mechanics "just know" what to do - fit them to *any* vehicle they fit them to want. . He went on to say that he had no idea how I got hold of this part, accused me of buying a counterfeit or grey/black market part (stolen) and was emphatic that it wasn't covered as it was outside of the dealer network was sold under any guarantee. 3) Stickers shown in product images are not included in the scope of delivery. A Mopar spokesman said they were likely photoshopped into the catalog pages to make it look like part of a Jeep. He didn't know where to get the decals from, he certainly couldn't send them to me, and said that if it wasn't for mine they would most likely not be included in any other kit. 4) The kit is advertised as compatible with my generation Jeep JK . (2008 - X Unlimited) It's not. At least it's not a bolt. To do this, one of the (usually unused) holes on the passenger side axle bracket must be drilled fairly large. (I was just lucky that I had such a large drill on hand and didn't mind drilling a giant hole in my Jeep.) a mystery.” With no instructions or help from Mopar, I had to try to figure out where all the Parts were gone. There are several configurations that you *could* fit this thing into. But there seems to be only one correct (safe?) way. If you decide to roll the dice, I'll spare you the puzzle. The largest flange bolt that supports the stabilizer bar. The rest of the hardware is pretty much self-explanatory, except for a few lock washers and other smaller washers. Just use your best judgment a few more regular washers. As I said, this is a mystery. 6) Plan a liquid wrench, cutting fluid (e.g. drilling) and a very large wrench to loosen the bolt that attaches the tie rod to the axle. I have no idea what the torque rating of this bolt is, but judging by the size of the giant wrench it took me to unscrew it, I'm guessing it sits somewhere between Hercules and the Incredible Hulk. be a quality set. Obviously they are designed and made by people who know what they are doing. Too bad he's completely disappointed and has no support whatsoever from the rest of the Mopar supply chain. The dealers were very friendly and helpful. I often do my best to take my calls and call to see if anyone has any information other than what little I had. Feel free to contact me for any help on this item. I *unfortunately* seem to be the best source of information on this set at the moment. I will try to help in any way I can. With proper instructions (even half a page will do), graphics (stickers), the usual warranty, a note that some Jeep JK models require some drilling and some a little less. hostile mopar support, that would be a 5 star rating.
