I really like our new Vtech phone BUT I am very disappointed in the seller they sent the product with old batteries that do NOT retain their charge. Although the product manual states that handsets should last 10 hours of talk time or 10 days of standby time, we just found this out as we unplugged the handsets to make sure they couldn't be electrocuted during our use recent hurricane scare that all phones drained their batteries in less than 12 hours without a charger in standby mode (i.e. 9-10 days sooner than estimated). I am very disappointed that we have new phones but the batteries supplied are old batteries that will need to be replaced the same month we started using the new phone system.
