Update: I really liked this collar at first. I only used it at night to take my son on errands. When it's time to charge it a second time, it's due. It just doesn't work anymore. A total waste of money, don't do it! I have a mostly black 8 lb Chihuahua who is a medical alert service dog. We recently moved out of state to a very small town that has very little lighting at night. Needless to say, one night he went outside to potty train and he disappeared into the darkness. It's not safe for any of us. I started looking for ways to solve this problem when I came across this collar. To be honest I didn't expect this to solve our problem. I bought a green collar because it "looked" very light. This collar is amazing! It lights up my boy completely. I'm not losing it at all. I'm sure it can now be seen from several hundred feet away. I couldn't be happier. Now he has no accident in the starting blocks. The collar is very light and doesn't bother at all. Now that we have to go for our little midnight walks, I just put a collar on him and we're good to go. An absolute blessing of safety! Regardless of the size of your child, I would highly recommend this collar. On our next walk I will take and add some photos.
