Bought the lamp because of the low profile, light colour, LED and dimming function. Good light, good profile. It doesn't generate heat *when standing under it*, but the base of the bulb felt **pretty hot**. I changed the lightbulb in the closet. Tried this but found it wasn't suitable for attaching a globe. Went for another bulb and when I took this one out the plastic base felt very hot. It was only on for a few minutes. I didn't think it was very secure so I removed it.
