I bought this stand for my 2020 Macbook Air, for my standing desk I wanted something that I could use standing or sitting at eye level. This laptop stand fitted very well as my 12 South was too low. The only thing I would change is the option of a small shelf under the stand for the 2.5" backup drive and USB-C port. I used velcro for this and it works great allowing me to quickly remove it when traveling and go off.
