Wireless works great, physical key not great
I have a used 2017 Escape with only one key fob, Ford dealer wanted "$250 to $275" for a second one. Called a mobile locksmith who did it for $100 in about 5 minutes with a device connected to the ODB2 diagnostic port and his iPhone. Works well, has remote start, lock/unlock, open tailgate. Unfortunately it was not possible to cut the physical key as it is not the "secured key" model in the OEM key fob hence a star has been deducted.
