This record weight made a big impression. I recently bought a new belt drive turntable, but I've had a lot of tracking issues, especially on recent runs. There are a few records that I'm convinced are just plain bad, but other than that my collection has completely stopped the little omissions I was dealing with. I didn't have to stick nickel tape on the trailing arm (which didn't help with my problems anyway). This keeps the vinyl from moving or shaking and now I can really enjoy my vinyl without fear of damaging my collection! Give it a try, there are more expensive options, but this is a great product, especially for the price. *Note. I can't close the lid of my player while it's in use, but it tucks away inside the side of the player so I can keep it closed when not in use. It's no problem for me to keep it open during use.
