The contact switch is a handy and convenient switch that can be used in many applications. I used it for under hood lighting and was happy when the item arrived and turned on five switches (I was only expecting one). Adjustable for your application, they can easily be used for a door, trunk, tailgate, hood or even if you want to light up a tool box in the trunk or behind the seats. Looks well made and should last a while. And I love that it also includes a full-size cable clamp in case you want to replace it with an angled cable or connect to an existing cable without cutting it or connecting a new one.
