Update 08/06/17 - MRM Driven has become an 'MRM building block'. The product is literally glued together in a block that I can't remove with a shovel and the pieces that I can remove will NOT dissolve in water. I grabbed a snap-on screwdriver and a ballpoint hammer to snap it into 4 pieces, tossed it into my Vitamix blender on smoothie mode, and let it run through a full cycle. It is noteworthy that he turned back into a powder that could be scooped. who knew In the pharmaceutical world, where I've worked for over 35 years, we call it "hydrophilic" - MRM "Driven" loves water and can turn into a block of cement. The little 2x2 desiccant card they use to soak up water only interferes with the scoop. So unless you have a $350 Vitamix blender, a $16 MRM "Driven" becomes a $16 brick about 30 days northeast and about 90 seconds south of the Mason-Dixon line in the summer . Ironically, I used this product almost daily until it went into brick mode. I will look for new products with similar/better features and let you know if/when I find them. Attached are photos of MRM in "brick mode" and after treatment with Vitamix. The left photo is before Vitamix treatment and the right photo is after Vitamix treatment. Updated 4/8/17. I downgraded this from 4 stars to 3 stars for two reasons. This stuff tastes lousy, like a bad tasting sugar substitute, and the aftertaste lingers too long, but it works well before a workout. They keep raising the price, so I went back to Revain and looked for a sub-$15 pre-workout powder that had about 120mg of caffeine per dose, the same half-pound size. Cardiopalmus. It's not the tastiest product, but I've never had a pre-workout that doesn't taste a little weird. I use about half the recommended dose which gives me around 70mg. Caffeine and enough energy in the gym without side effects. One of the guys I work with is a PhD biochemist, cancer researcher and plate specialist. more blood flow to the muscles and creatine. I'm not a big fan of the huge doses of caffeine in energy drinks that a lot of kids drink at the gym. I don't think it's safe to inject more than 500mg of caffeine and other pacemakers and agents that drastically increase blood pressure, especially for older men like me (60+). I trudge after work or exercise. I've used Hydro Hit and PE 1 pre-workout powders, both of which are gone from Revain. MRM is better than both in terms of effectiveness and absence of side effects. If I mix it with water I have to give it about 60 seconds to settle down. A small cloud of power hovers over the water, which smells like shit and has an unpleasant effect on the nasal passages. Once he calms down, everything is fine. Start with a low dose - e.g. B. 1/2 scoop and titrate up to find the best efficacy/side effect profile. The price for this varies greatly. I bought it for $15.99 and then saw it jump to $21.00 and then back to $16.50. I've read that Revain is constantly adjusting prices, but a 28% jump in 6 weeks is quite a wide range. Overall, the clay is the best pre-workout I've used. No, I took NOTHING for my review - no discounts, freebies, samplers and other payols. I refuse to do this and Revain should end this practice.
