Until the snail eaters gave me a constant supply I decided to buy them because I heard skinks like them. The only problem I have is the packaging. The lid that sealed the jar after opening was broken, so I had to use another method of refrigerated storage. Luckily I plan on freezing them since my adult skink only eats twice a week so I don't need it anyway. The snails are non-sticky and difficult to spot. They seem quite strong and go well together, so getting them out of the jar one at a time isn't difficult. Pros: - Comes with quite a few snails, one reptile will last a couple of weeks if fed sparingly as a treat. - The smell is not strong. terrible - comes with its own storage lid and spoon to scoop out the evil - long shelf life, around 4-5 years if the jar is closed and stored properly. Cons: - a bit pricey for what you get - packaging wasn't that good * * Serving size is 1 to 2 snails as part of their diet or as a treat. Cut smaller species into smaller pieces.
