Review on Sun System Gray HGC748205 PAR Meter: Measure Photosynthetically Active Radiation with Remote Sensor by Daniel Pierce

Updated August 22nd: I'm increasing this rating from 4 to 5 stars. Instead of contacting support, I took care of the exchange through the normal Revain processes. They immediately sent a replacement unit with a remote sensor (arrived today via UPS). The new box works as advertised and I definitely prefer it to the box with the sensor built in (meaning the sensor is built into the body of the control box). Review of August 18: The kit does not include a remote control sensor as stated in the product description. I'll call support to find out what's going on with it. However, the sensor itself is easy to use and I really like having something that measures PAR instead of lux/lumens. It was very enlightening to try this out on my different lights. I would give it 4 stars if it came with a remote sensor as advertised.
