I bought a router for $25. This is the same hardware as dlink dir-615. The default firmware on this router isn't very pretty, but it has all the basic features. I flashed the router with dlink firmware and it works like a champ. No reboot required, no freezing. It's been almost a month now and now the problems aren't related to dynamic DNS. I'm not sure why, but the update just won't run. I use it in WiFi mixed mode with WPA2-PSK + AES, NAT for internal servers and almost all features and have no problems. Range is good and Wi-Fi speeds reach 130Mbps for mixed mode wireless. Too much to ask, but a USB port for mass storage/printer sharing would be a nice addition. But I'm happy with what I paid for. A definite buy for home users who don't want to spend a lot but still want the speed and range of the N.
