The syringe used for backwashing cannot be attached to the filter and must be pressed against the filter with force. This is a very poor, inadequate design that allows water to leak around the connection between the filter and the syringe, so flushing is insufficient. due to lack of pressure and flow. This could have been designed so that no force would be required to hold the syringe tip close to the filter. It's just that neither the design of this product nor the instructions for the product have been thought through. I do not recommend buying until the company hires someone who understands English better as I believe the problem is with the instructions. The syringe must be attached to the backwash filter and is easy to fix. Please revise the instructions completely. Wanted to add that the filter doesn't match the thread size of a standard 500ml water bottle.
