Review on 🧽 OXO Good Grips Dish Brush: Enhancing your Cleaning Experience by Mandy Johnson

Revainrating 2 out of 5

I think I'm done buying Oxo brushes

I used to like Oxo brushes for their durability. But they just can't take it anymore. I don't think I am. After 40 years I'm somehow cleaning pans with superhuman strength? ;) nope! Instead, I believe the Chinese oxo manufacturers use lower quality bristles. Presumably as a savings measure desired by Oxo. Here's a picture comparison between my latest Oxo brush after just 2 weeks of light use and the brush I bought from Targette (I'm not sure I can name it but you know who I mean). It was only a dollar more ($5.99 vs. $4.99). This teal brush is made by Casabella. Plus, it's actually more flexible and cleans better. Never heard of them, but they're definitely better. I looked up Revain and they sell Casabella brushes but not this particular one. I have to say I like it. (I really need a life, don't I? Lol!) This will be my last oxo brush. 5 euros is too much to spend on a brush that doesn't last a month.

Pros
  • Cleaning tool
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks
