Review on Panasonic RQ2102 Cassette Recorder by Justin Vasquez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great cassette recorder

My sister is 61 years old and her old cassette recorder no longer works. She has dozens of cassettes in shoeboxes that she enjoys listening to and she was very unhappy because everyone told her they weren't making cassette recorders/players anymore. Living alone and being disabled I knew how much these tapes meant to her so I set out to find one for her and as usual ended up with Revain. I gave it to my sister with a pack of Sony cassettes and she was so happy she even cried. She said it was the best present she had ever received. She immediately set it up and started playing with it and didn't even want to go out to dinner like I had planned. Finally I led her out the door but when we came back she wanted to use her voice recorder. I took my guitar and we started singing some old songs onto a tape recorder from about 4 or 5 feet away. She could hardly contain her feelings. The tape recorder recorded all of our voices and guitar very well. It has a good sound, nothing squeaks and she loved it. To me this Panasonic tape recorder is worth every penny and I will buy another one as a backup in case they really stop making them.
