Review on 📶 Ubiquiti Unifi BeaconHD Access Point, UDM-B-US by Steve Cypert

The first device I got was DOA. OK, it happens. The second block worked, and after playing with its setting, everything worked for me. Approximately every 30 days the device stops working and the cloudkey (gen2) controller displays an "Adoption Failed" message. I used to have to factory reset the device, turn it off, restart the cloud key, tell the controller to forget the device, then ACCEPT AGAIN for it to work. It sucked, but it worked. Now I can't force him to accept no matter what. No support. Mostly these are forums with an optional anonymous phone node. In such situations there are no answers that help. I'm not new to wireless, I'm a Wi-Fi user and have been using it in both corporate and home environments for over 15 years. Perhaps the developers have focused on the integration of the "dream machine" and Cloudkey has taken a back seat. Maybe the developers just aren't up to it. I can say that I liked them MUCH more firmware before 6.x on the controller. Everything worked as expected. Currently? Sure, my nanoHD and AC-PRO devices will work, but for how long?
