Totally worth the money if you really love your morning coffee. My wife gets up before me most weekdays and makes a full pot of filter coffee. It had problems: if she made too much money, it was thrown down the drain. If she didn't make enough, I got half a glass when I went downstairs. Also, we went through a lot of coffee beans. It makes an excellent cup of espresso with just one touch and very little waste. We spend less on coffee every week and it actually tastes better. It is also very easy to care for. Once or twice a week I empty the drip tray and grounds container and rinse out the screen. Everything is very easy to disassemble and assemble. It flashes from time to time to alert you that you need to descale and need a special cleaning solution to do it (buy a 500ml bottle from Revain). I recommend doing a water hardness test. Our water here is very clean, so I was able to set a maximum time between descaling.
