After a little more than a month of use, the malfunction started, the return time has just expired. My GCFI outlet started turning off and after troubleshooting I found that the problem was with my new heater. To date there have been no problems with it and nothing has been added or changed. Pretty disappointing. It wasn't very accurate either, I set it to 77 degrees and my tank was too warm at 81 degrees. I thought maybe something else was heating the tank, but when I was forced to switch to a different heater, it held the right temperature. Also it turned off the outlet when it shouldn't have come on, the temperature was too high to turn it on so at first I thought it wasn't a heater.
