I opened the box and was impressed with the quality. The padding is very good and the material is much better than what is usually used in cycling shorts. The fit was perfect and I'm looking forward to tomorrow's ride. I will post an update after the trip. I rode 9 miles in the hills of Pac NW which is short for me but I'm not used to the hills. I spent a lot of time in very low gears and high cadence. I felt completely comfortable with the cycling shorts, no problem. The material of the shorts is better than my other shorts and because of this the padding stayed in place protecting the sit bones and private parts. I am delighted and will buy again. UPDATE: See second picture. After I rode with my wife, she said that I should wear something over those shorts because they were too revealing. I mostly ride in Florida, which is very hot and very humid, so I just unbutton my shirt so it doesn't see as much. I have other shorts classified as underwear and running shorts but I think I'll wear these as is or I'll get more tan on my back. Maybe they have tan shorts?
