Review on πŸ’‘ 10 Ft Power Strip Surge Protector with 5 Outlets, 3 USB Ports & Flat Plug – Overload Surge Protection for Home, Office, and Hotel Use by Chris Chincuanco

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good placement/spacing

I was looking to add under counter outlets (both power and USB) to the end of the cabinet and this surge protector did the job perfectly. It mounts easily flush to the cabinets (note that it requires #8 screws for assembly - I used pan head mounting screws so I could secure the lock nuts inside the cabinet). The distance between the sockets is normal. I would have preferred there to be more room between each outlet to accommodate a couple of DC plugs, but at least one of the outlets has a few inches of headroom. USB plugs are good. You can get 2.4A on each of the ports, but you're limited to 3.1A total, so if you're adding a few devices, expect only standard USB 5V/1A power delivery. The cable length is Well. The gray fabric "braided" cable is a bit odd (I'd prefer vinyl or plastic), but it's in a cable duct so it doesn't really matter. The fork is nice, flat and flat, but comes out at an awkward angle for me (would have preferred a rotating fork). Overall, despite all the reservations about this surge protector, there were no surprises (I knew what I was getting myself into). hit) and it does its job.
