I swapped my hangers from old white plastic hangers for velvet lined ones and found that hanging and taking off knit shirts was a great agony and my husband hated them and refused to go to the laundry help I will continue to use them so I had to find something else. I found these on Amazon and they are perfect - still nice and thin so don't take up much space but easy to put on and take off which makes my husband (and I) happy. I still have some of my velvet hangers for slippery materials and a t-shirt (because the velvet hangers have little notches to keep the straps from slipping, but the plastic hangers don't). Our closet holds a lot more than before and looks nice too!
