Protects kids from door and stair gates
I used this to build a fence over my living room to keep our young daughter away from the entertainment center. As time passed and she used it to get up, I had to make some improvements. I used some 2x2 boards and a blade to make extra legs for stabilization. Then I added a furniture strap to attach it to the wall so she couldn't move it. The last thing to do was use 2 cement blocks as she got stronger and will try to push her forward. It wasn't a bad setup, but it kept them from getting to sensitive electronics for years. This will scare most dogs away, but some dogs and most cats will just jump over it.
