GREAT chair, TERRIBLE harness system

LOVE this chair for my 23 month old toddler. It can walk up and down on its own, it slides right onto the table and the side rails prevent it from falling out unlike the booster. But if your child needs a seat belt, look elsewhere. The harness system is downright awful - the straps put pressure on his legs - the one that goes between his legs is too short and the straps that go around the waist aren't fastened. on the sides of the chair but just hanging freely - hard to explain, just know it's uncomfortable. After finally figuring out how to operate the straps, we buckled him in only to watch him roll over and slide right out. The straps do not stay in the buckle! My husband installed the screws to hold it in place but just a day later we removed the entire harness system but unscrewed it and have not used it since. We also never used a tray so I can't rate it, we just pulled a chair at the table. However, I really like the real chair and we bought another one for a relative's house. PS The photo shows a young man. also sits in the chair but that would be VERY uncomfortable for everyone except the baby as the seat is narrow.
