I started using it when my kids were little. It removes chewing gum from hair in seconds, sticky residue from peeling off a label from something, and more. Once a neighbor felled a tall pine tree, and all the children decided to fight with cones. Well, my kids came home with pine sap in their arms. I sprayed on De-solv-it, rubbed for a few seconds and rinsed, then rinsed with dish soap to remove any greasy residue. Everything is gone. It's so much better than Goo Gone, it would never be as good.
