Review on 🚵 ESI Chunky Mountain Bike Grip by Robert Demissie

I can feel the handlebars through this

My first impression of these grips was great the first five miles up the next hill on my mountain bike. I've ridden thousands of miles with ODI Rogue and Ergon GP3 grips and thought I'd tried something new. The price and weight were attractive so I gave it a try. About two miles down the hill I started to really dislike these holds. I tried to say to myself, 'Release your grip, you must have been gripped by death while I was adjusting to her, so I loosened my grip. But it didn't really help. I really feel the steering wheel through them, and it digs into my palm, causing a bit of nerve pain that lingers long after the drive. They were so painful on my arm and arm that it started to become pain in my shoulder and neck. I'm not kidding, they are stupid. I think these grips are great for losing weight and nothing more. I almost gave them 2 stars because they are really light. However, this is not the easiest option. I could just wrap medical tape around the steering wheel and put an end to that if I wanted to keep the weight down. I've been using them for over a week and have ridden over 100 miles in the dirt with them. I just couldn't get used to them, even though I wanted to. None of my times improved on any segment of the ride in terms of Strava segments.
