Bad in the rain. Serious. Bad enough, I swore when I got home I'd have to tell others. At first I thought it was my gloves (which have a 'gripping' palm made of a normally 'sticky' material) so I took them off and it was worse with bare hands. I am an experienced mountain bike rider and also a grown man. These grips are excellent and if you are not an adult I 100 percent recommend them. I dress mine by pouring some alcohol into the hollow part of the handle and sealing the bottom with my thumb, shaking it, pouring it out and sliding it over the handle. Easy installation with alcohol, looks solid. But they are not the best grip ever. I used them on my Eagle Gripshift so it cut the correct grip and I can't get them back. , I've tried a lot of different holds and found that these are my favorite holds. The strangest thing is that they are more comfortable without gloves. I ride Troy Lee Design gloves which go very well with other grips I've used. These grips are fine, but I prefer to ride them without gloves.
