Not in the rain. Best in Parts and Components

Bad in the rain. Serious. Bad enough, I swore when I got home I'd have to tell others. At first I thought it was my gloves (which have a 'gripping' palm made of a normally 'sticky' material) so I took them off and it was worse with bare hands. I just checked other reviews and found 2 saying these pens are "good in the rain" but I don't 100 percent agree. It was so bad that I turned around and drove home, afraid I might hit a pothole and get a plant in my face (or worse). There is NO texture onโ€ฆ

Five Star Error: Sport

I am an experienced mountain bike rider and also a grown man. These grips are excellent and if you are not an adult I 100 percent recommend them. I dress mine by pouring some alcohol into the hollow part of the handle and sealing the bottom with my thumb, shaking it, pouring it out and sliding it over the handle. They are easy to install and hold tight. I really liked her. But those "chunky" grips are too flimsy. They're thin on the map and thinner on the handlebars. Too bad. After a week I had

Uh uh uh! suitable for spare parts and components

Easy installation with alcohol, looks solid. But they are not the best grip ever. I used them on my Eagle Gripshift so it cut the correct grip and I can't get them back. They're still better than the original grips that came with the Gripsjhift, but they're not as comfortable as they say and the price is ridiculous. Bought these because I thought they really were the best pens, but they aren't that bad, but they aren't worth $18 either. Downgrade to one star. Yesterday I had the opportunity toโ€ฆ

Excellent grips. - Cycling

, I've tried a lot of different holds and found that these are my favorite holds. The strangest thing is that they are more comfortable without gloves. I ride Troy Lee Design gloves which go very well with other grips I've used. These grips are fine, but I prefer to ride them without gloves. I've done a few long rides and singletrack with it and I have to say I won't be buying another grip for a long time. They're a bit difficult to hit. I've found that if you spray alcohol on the handlebarsโ€ฆ

I can feel the handlebars through this

My first impression of these grips was great the first five miles up the next hill on my mountain bike. I've ridden thousands of miles with ODI Rogue and Ergon GP3 grips and thought I'd tried something new. The price and weight were attractive so I gave it a try. About two miles down the hill I started to really dislike these holds. I tried to say to myself, 'Release your grip, you must have been gripped by death while I was adjusting to her, so I loosened my grip. But it didn't really help. Iโ€ฆ
