Review on 🚵 ESI Chunky Mountain Bike Grip by Brett Kolpack

Bad in the rain. Serious. Bad enough, I swore when I got home I'd have to tell others. At first I thought it was my gloves (which have a 'gripping' palm made of a normally 'sticky' material) so I took them off and it was worse with bare hands. I just checked other reviews and found 2 saying these pens are "good in the rain" but I don't 100 percent agree. It was so bad that I turned around and drove home, afraid I might hit a pothole and get a plant in my face (or worse). There is NO texture on the handles - they are basically "smooth". I'm really surprised and expected to read other comments on the same topic - maybe it's just me? I used alcohol to mount them so I didn't look like soap scum or any weird circumstances. My grip rests with my palms on the bar - my wrists are straight and not pronated - so I don't use a claw grip, but today in the rain it was necessary.
