Glass shelf looks good and is well made. I'm a female and had no trouble with the assembly until it came time to attach it to the back of my TV. I use it on the TV with the shelf facing the back of the TV so it doesn't overhang the screen. This works great as my TV is on a stand and not fixed. You need to make sure there is enough space between the TV and the wall as the shelf is deeper than I expected. Now to the problem. Mounting screws to attach the shelf to the back of the TV are NOT included. Truth? So I had to rummage through the garage, where I found various screws from previous projects. I don't know the exact size you need, maybe one of you artisans can help. Anyway, I found some that seemed to be quite long, but you also need a wide head on the screw or it will go right through the bracket's holes. No problem, I just put washers on the ends and it worked. It connects to a 46-inch Philips and is just what you need. It's a shifty setup, but girls gotta do what girls gotta do! I use it as the center speaker in a home theater system that weighs about 6 pounds. works perfectly. Cleans, looks and I like it. One star deducted for the lack of screws to mount the TV, but other than that it's a good product for the price.
