The shelf is exactly what I was looking for to wall mount the Blu-ray player under the TV. Mounting was another matter. I had to replace my first one because I just couldn't get the small mount screws into the mount. It seemed to me that the holes were not punched. I received the replacement quickly and had trouble putting the screws back on, but after working on it for a while I was finally able to put it all together. Perhaps the problem was in the color on the threads. I'm not sure.

What I received had a couple of screw heads broken off but I was able to tighten them with channel locks. Not too difficult to assemble. Glass shelf looks good and is well made. I'm a female and had no trouble with the assembly until it came time to attach it to the back of my TV. I use it on the TV with the shelf facing the back of the TV so it doesn't overhang the screen. This works great as my TV is on a stand and not fixed.
