Easier to DIY than you think

My car has a dent in the back. I had an estimate at a local PDR (Paintless Dent Remover) store that was around $250. The dent was about 3/4 inch long right on the line, which I found difficult to do on my own. I bought this set and followed the instructions. It took me less than an hour to flawlessly remove the dent. I found a few tips that may help you with your project: 1. Don't press too hard when applying the melted glue to the dent as it will thin out. The adhesive in the center reduces the effectiveness of pulling the dent. You'll know you're pressing hard enough when you see the melted glue begin to spread. 2. Use less glue when you first try to estimate the need. I made the mistake of placing too hard so the dent was pulled out more than necessary. I easily corrected this error by tapping it lightly with a hammer/plastic mallet. Next 4. Take your time. It's better to apply more draw time than draw too much that you have to tap it with a hammer/knock. This thins the metal, which creates another denting problem.
