Review on 🏊 Kovot Waterproof Playing Cards: The Perfect Choice for Pool and Water Games! by Alex Taylor

I bought this deck to throw in my backpack for hiking/camping and they just don't fill the bill. The cards themselves are indeed all plastic and appear to be quite durable. They have a rough surface that theoretically helps grip them with wet hands, although I expect the roughness to attract dirt like crazy on the track. What the product description fails to mention is that these are not standard sized cards - they are smaller. Most importantly, the plastic case really drew me to this deck because I wanted to be able to pack it away. It's absolutely horrible and completely useless. It's made of incredibly brittle transparent plastic (think of the transparent parts of an airplane model kit, only much thinner). When I received it it was already torn and the lid doesn't hold up at all, not even a little. In theory, you could wrap it with a rubber band to hold the two halves together for transport, but on the first small impact it still shatters into ten sharp shards at the bottom of the pack. So all I have to do is throw out the sleeve, wrap the cards myself with a rubber band, and carry them around unprotected. Pretty disappointing.
