The cards are fine

Haven't tried the cards in the water yet but have played with them at the pool. As soon as moisture got on the cards, they curled up and deformed. Not to mention that they are very light and smaller than regular cards. It was hard to play with them in the state they were in. I took it out of the box and played it straight away. The plastic case also ripped open.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Good cards but the case is junk

I just received the cards so I haven't tested the water resistance yet. I believe they were opened and returned before I received them. There is a case of inserting cards that don't close at all and cracked. It's okay, I'll close it with a rubber band, but anyway, why a case then? I'll do an update after the holiday I took them on to see if they really are waterproof and are holding up well.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Expensive

The cards are a bit narrow, but closer to paper ones.

The card came in a cardboard box with a plastic box inside, but the lid does not snap and requires a rubber band if stored without a cardboard box. The cards appear to be a bit small, maybe around 1/4 inch wide. The texture on the front of the card and the unidirectional print on the back make it playable. It's easy to mix and match our waterproof Hoyle cards. I will use Kovot cards on my boat.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • No finish

NOT WHITE AS SHOWN - Strange Purple/Dark

I got these cards to play in bars where spilled drinks often ruin normal cards and make them sticky. I haven't played with them yet, so I can't comment on how they handle, how they feel, or how waterproof they actually are, but I really don't like that they're an odd, muddy purple color. It doesn't look good and they were bright white in the picture. The camera doesn't even pick up the odd color well, but I put it on a piece of white paper so you can see the difference.

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Empty

Excellent, but with a downside

These cards last 1000 times better than traditional cards (e.g. a bicycle). They're a bit smaller and the flexibility makes them feel cheap at first, but as you keep using them you'll be amazed at how fresh and clean they stay, again compared to regular cards. However, they have one major disadvantage, at least with my pack, which is that the design on the back starts to fade and you can start to figure out what the card is without seeing it depending on how faded the background is. . It's a…

Not exactly what I was hoping for.

I bought this deck to throw in my backpack for hiking/camping and they just don't fill the bill. The cards themselves are indeed all plastic and appear to be quite durable. They have a rough surface that theoretically helps grip them with wet hands, although I expect the roughness to attract dirt like crazy on the track. What the product description fails to mention is that these are not standard sized cards - they are smaller. Most importantly, the plastic case really drew me to this deck…

Pros
  • Loads of positive vibes
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Great cards that outperform the competition!

Bought two sets of waterproof cards, this one and a well known major competitor that makes clear cards. We plan to use them when camping and have already used them indoors and in the garden. We mainly use them to play Euchre. The cards are MUCH better than the competition with many advantages. In this set, the images cover the entire surface (they are not "sharp") and just look more like maps. At Euchre you score by drawing a card containing 4 and 6 and revealing the points gained after a deal…
