My 7 year old LOVES THIS TENT! He's on the top bunk in her room. At night she feels safe there, it's her own little hideaway! In addition, I also bought "Smile LED Lantern: Portable Night Light For Kids" from Revain. This tent has a small loop at the inside top center (where the poles cross) and the lantern has an open hook at the top for hanging the lantern and reading at night. This is the perfect setting! The tent has 2 poles that you insert to raise it and it simply slides onto the outside of the mattress over the bottom sheet. The tent has no floor, so it is not intended for outdoor camping. Where the windows are and at the top there are mesh holes, like a little skylight, which is nice. Window "blinds" can be rolled up with Velcro or closed with Velcro. The door also closes with Velcro. I highly recommend!
