My room shares a wall with the garage and it gets COLD in Minnesota in the winter. Like REALLY COLD. I bought it hoping to have it right next to my bed for some warmth, but I was totally surprised. I turned it on about 20 minutes before bed and it was really warm in my room. There was a noticeable difference between my room and the hallway. The remote control makes it amazing even in the morning. Just switch it on, relax a little, and then when you get out of bed, it's not a cold kick in the pit of your stomach. The heater also has a setting where you can keep a certain temperature, but I try to save energy and just turn it on when I need it. I like it when the car runs in economy mode. I think this is a very cool feature and it still generates a lot of heat. The vibrations also help to disperse the air in the room. If this thing can help me get through a Minnesota winter, it can help you get through anything.
