Damn Good Performance

It still amazes me how well this little freak works. It's within range of my full-size 240s. I cool 2080ti and 5600x with one of these and two 120mm fans. That's a nominal 315W! Everything idles below 30 and I've never seen the CPU go above 68 degrees Celsius or the GPU above 50 degrees Celsius. Typically, within a few hours of gaming, my CPU stalls at 53-55 degrees Celsius and my GPU between 42-45 degrees Celsius. That's pretty darn high performance for a single 240mm radar, let alone such a thin body. Just to be clear, in my setup this is one wheel that cools both the large GPU and the CPU. Granted, AMD is very efficient with a 65W TDP, but my 2080 ti regularly overclocks to 250W. It should be noted that CFM is better than compression on these thin heatsinks. In most cases we use fans that are specifically designed to pressurize the cooler, but not in this case. This is where you want air to move, and the thin profile doesn't require the pressure that traditional radiators require. It offers very little resistance to airflow, which seems to work well - I mention this to help others with fan selection. In my case I ran them in a push configuration and left the obvs case. I've found the fans - even in my case - to offer peak cooling in the 1350-1500 RPM range when I'm running my rig intensely. Day after day they never go above 600rpm and my water temp is around 32C (delta 7C) at idle and low load and over 40C at high load. I have never seen the water temperature exceed 42 degrees even after several hours of play. The thing is very thin. Seems very thin. I have it before the H21i and there's still plenty of room for a full-size GPU.
