This wick set works very well for general candle making. However, if you want to make sales candles, this is too general. These are one size wicks (diameter, not length) that will fit all, whereas if you want to go pro you will need wicks that match the diameter and type of candle you are making. making votive candles etc. You can use the longer ones to make things like cones. BUT, if you make a candle in the shape of a jar, your wax will burn and a votive-sized hole will appear in your large container. The wick just doesn't carry enough flame to burn a larger diameter. So for simple things this is a good set.
