Review on Dometic 3312694.007 Polar White Refrigerator Vent Base - Base Only for Complete Vent Kit by Leslie Matlak

This is not the size I assume the old style ventilation base is now. It does not match the holes on my original vent cap, nor the holes on the new vent cap that is often purchased with this product. Even the dimensions of this product are wider than the original vent base. Hence it gets one star because there is no hole size description or there are multiple versions. Now I'm stuck with a lid and base that don't match because the return on the lid has expired. Make sure the screw holes for attaching the vent cover to the base are 5 and 3/8 if you plan to combine this with a vent cover. My old version cap AND the new vent cap are about 4 and 3/8. Someone mentioned that only new holes are screwed in, but the holes that are supposed to connect them are reinforced. This means you have to drill a regular non-reinforced thin plastic pad.
