Review on 🔒 Rubber Coated Hitch Tightener: Anti Rattle Solution for Quiet, Wobble-Free Towing by Roberto Evans

I love that this clutch tensioner has eliminated the wobble on my 2" clutch. Because you really need to tighten the bolts to make sure the wobble doesn't happen when you're on the road. However, I noticed that after a few uses, the U-bolt was bent due to the necessary tightening. If the nuts aren't tight enough, you won't be able to achieve the desired goal; everything will rattle and possibly fall apart. So if you tighten the screws with enough force, after a while the screw will start to bend. This makes tightening the nuts more difficult due to the curvature of the bolt. It seems to me that the U-bolt is made of fairly soft steel. I went to Home Depot to find something made of heavier steel, but there was nothing. So I'm going to try a couple of the hitch fittings nearby and hope they have something made out of much tougher steel. If I can't do that then I don't see a future for this tensioner without constantly changing the U-bolt after a few rides. In general everything works as intended, I just wish for better material.
