I used it for a week of desert biking near Mesa, Arizona and another 2 weeks of inline skating. I bought an extra speed/cadence sensor and heart monitor. It's easy to connect to the sensors and set up through the phone app. It's also handy for recording rides and uploading data to Strava. It's a decent bike computer for the features that work. But then it doesn't work for simple things that my 1988 Vetta bike computer could: The XOSS G+ doesn't record any data if the GPS signal doesn't change. This means that inline skating (a type of trainer) does not record elapsed time or distance, even if they display wheel speed, cadence and heart rate. You'd think there's a way to get it to work without GPS, but no. Maybe I'm just using it wrong? I've tried referencing the instructions but they are thin and don't even cover all of the displays on the screen. (You'll have to guess what they even mean). I've tried contacting XOSS support, both via email and an in-app support request. There was no answer. I expect XOSS to fix the GPS issue with a simple firmware update, which is easy for the end user, but XOSS ignores clients. Much luck. We hope there are no other trivial errors and bugs that require interaction with XOSS.
