Works great as far as I can tell. I sleep with him about a meter away on the nightstand by the bed. I don't notice any difference in air quality. I notice that I no longer wake up thirsty at night. In the past (at least as long as I can remember) it was normal to wake up with a dry throat at least once a night, so I always thought it was normal and kept water by my bed in case I woke up. I definitely wasn't expecting or even looking for it. Basically I bought it to hopefully get rid of the dust. I don't notice any difference in the accumulation of falling dust in the room it's in, but since it helps a lot in other demonstrable ways, it was worth buying.
