At first I bought them with my own money. I have an almost 6 month old baby who has started eating solid food. This is a very exciting phase as I have always wanted to be the first to make homemade baby food. So I went for baby carriers and didn't like the selection of baby spoons in the stores. Went to Amazon, found them. I liked the way they looked and what they were made of. At first I thought they were too wide for my baby's mouth BUT to my surprise he seemed to eat from them much better than the flimsy store bought ones I got and the straw I used because it wasn't very could eat well the thinner spoons from the store. maybe because they were made of harder plastic. He likes the colors and he remembers them and he gets excited and knows when it's time to feed when he sees them. Pull out part of the spoon. Although it's really hard to spot just by playing with it, you still can't be too careful. The only bad thing was that the silicone tip of the spoon smelled bad. But what I did was just soak the ends in hot water and bowl twice. then just hot water and some vinegar. It helped to stop smelling like that new plastic, almost like nail polish remover. Definitely would order more, maybe in the future when it gets older to replace the old ones. I am a first mom and I am always looking for products like this, they are the best choice for me and my baby. By the way, I really liked the whole bamboo part. and one day feed yourself :)
