Esthetically Pleasing Forged Brass Numbers

These are very nice, good quality, and easy to read from the street numbers for displaying your house address. I was looking for reflective address numbers and came across these. Since I wasn't real happy with the options that are also expensive I took a chance on these, and I'm glad I did. You can see these easily from the street and they are much better looking than the plastic or tin reflective numbering. The only complaint I have is the mounting hardware that came with these. The screws are very cheap forged gold plated screw, not brass, that strip and break easily. I messed up the "2" because of the screws breaking when trying to mount to the siding. Due to this I had to buy some #8 real brass screws from the hardware store. Unfortunately they didn't have a decorative recessed screw like what came with these numbers so I had to use a normal pan head brass screw, but it still looks very nice.

Pros
  • Numbers come with hardware and install easily
Cons
  • I wish it could have come painted. Now I wonder if it will rust
