Beautiful, well made, classy

These are amazing. We got tired of having the numbers painted on the driveway be the only indication of our address and were looking for a more permanent solution. We bought these based on the description of forged brass, and they did not disappoint. They are solid, well built, and stylish. I would have liked a little heftier brass screw as we attached them to brick, not wood, but we augmented the anchor with mortar to increase the security of the attachment. I keep going outside to stare at…

Pros
  • Great!
Cons
  • Expensive compared to other options

Nice Letters good for me

I have seen other reviewers complain about the screws. Buyers must remember the screws are brass to match the letters. Brass is a soft material. These are not self-boring wood screws. Therefore one needs to drill a pilot hole first and then use a hand screwdriver, NOT a drill or power driver. Follow these basic common sense rules and you should have no problem. These letters are a little pricey, but are of good quality.

Pros
  • numbers are heavy and sturdy. installing this week
Cons
  • It looked exactly what I wanted is not available

Great numbers- Terrible Screws

The house numbers look great, but as I believe a few others have pointed out, the included screws are useless, unless perhaps you are going into balsa wood. We carefully pre-drilled pilot holes and STILL they broke halfway going in. After the first one, I just went and found some other small screws that I had-- they worked no problem-- just don't match the black color. If you purchase, just assume you will need to buy your own mounting screws.

Pros
  • large, heavy metal numbers...excellent for showing off your address
Cons
  • Limited number options

Esthetically Pleasing Forged Brass Numbers

These are very nice, good quality, and easy to read from the street numbers for displaying your house address. I was looking for reflective address numbers and came across these. Since I wasn't real happy with the options that are also expensive I took a chance on these, and I'm glad I did. You can see these easily from the street and they are much better looking than the plastic or tin reflective numbering. The only complaint I have is the mounting hardware that came with these. The screws are…

Pros
  • Numbers come with hardware and install easily
Cons
  • I wish it could have come painted. Now I wonder if it will rust

Cheap screws. on my review.

The screws are worthless. They strip easily and break off. Will need to buy my own screws. Bought four numbers so this is turned my into a project. Cannot recommend.

Pros
  • Very nice got on time thank you
Cons
  • The zero was not what I expected I ordered it from the same seller but the zero is double the size!

Solid brass but not solid

These are cosmetically beautiful and come with brass screws. They appear to be solid brass but they are cast with a hollow back such that the metal is thin. The screw hole bosses are shallower than the rest of the back of number so if you over tighten the screw you may dimple or crack the letter. If they were solid I would give them 5 stars.

Pros
  • Looks nice on the house.
Cons
  • Heavy and bulky for shipping purposes
