I have tried both pink and purple and am very disappointed in purple. I read the reviews and thought they might not all be true but they are. It's about the same color as pink, but you use 3/4 of it to get the same result, not 1/8. I've used it on my huskies' tails and the pink hasn't affected them or changed the texture of their hair. Lila would attack my other huskies' tails where it was rough and tease them so much that they chewed on their tails. Remember I am a professional groomer and my girls are 4 1/2 and 6 1/2 years old. She NEVER chewed anything on her body and left a lump and irritation. In addition, my girls have very soft, well-groomed coats.
