I bought these for my cat as she likes to play with real ice cubes. It took him a little time to play with them, but after seeing them slide across the floor, he fell in love with them. It doesn't merge with them, I love them too. He just doesn't like them after they lose their frosty feel so I just put them back in the freezer and give him fresh frozen ones.
