Blown away! - my new review

Trying out hair and body products that don’t use plastic. and are more travel friendly for an upcoming 5 week trip!Purchased: Ethique eco-friendly bodywash bar ; Ethique eco-friendly Conditioner bar for oily-normal hair; Ethique Shampoo bar for oily hair.Pros: The shampoo/conditioner bars worked like a dream and almost better than the bottled products I have in my shower! Shampoo bar lathered wonderfully and didn’t take a lot of work. The conditioner - I couldn’t tell if it was going on at first, but once i went over my hair a few times it was obvious. My hair was soooo soft afterward and feels wonderful! The body bar worked, well, like a bar of soap. Lol.Cons: Ethique is pricy for how small their products are. But we’ll see how long they last. If they make it through my trip, then its worth the $$. I’m disappointed how small the conditioner bar is compared to the shampoo bar for being almost the same price. Again - will see how long it lasts. BIG disappointment was Ebay shipping it in bubble mailers! The point is to cut down on plastic and not add more to the landfills. Other than those few points I have to say I’m pretty stoked to have these for my trip.

Pros
  • Long-lasting and cost-effective compared to traditional conditioners
Cons
  • Could be difficult to travel with
