Review on 🐶 Enhanced PetSafe In-Ground Deluxe Ultralight Collar PUL-275 with Bonus Batteries by Kathy Wilking

After spending a day breaking my back installing an underground fence I have come to the conclusion that this system is not very good. It definitely works and I installed it following the instructions. But here are my problems. They say a dog can't walk past it, but in fact they CAN walk past it without getting electrocuted. Or maybe my dog is just really fast. However, that means I can't trust him. I had to purchase this small dog collar because the one that came with the ungrounded fence system was too big for my 12 lb dog, although it fits dogs under 8 lbs. This collar has 5 settings. The lowest setting is sound only, and the second level is almost imperceptible. But the third level is surprisingly uncomfortable and makes me pull my hand away. Makes my dog jump in the air. I'm afraid to even attempt the fourth or fifth level. It needs to give a warning before it shocks, but it just shocks right away. Unless the dog walks past the fence, otherwise he's definitely not shocked. Overall I am disappointed with this product. However, I will continue to try to use it to see if I can train my dog where our property lines are and hopefully he will remember it. But I would never count on it, and neither would you.
