Bright and wide illumination provides a color image at night!

Very well made. The materials used are strong and of the right weight and the paint finish is top notch. There are strong and large knobs used to adjust, position and lock the emitters. A small Allen key is used to adjust the camera. After downloading the application, connecting to the network is quick and easy. The key to initially connecting to your network is to have a camera and cell phone in close proximity to the router (preferably 100% network performance). Once that's done, move the camera to where you want it. If you have a phone app that shows network strength in the area, you can find out where it might be while still maintaining a good signal. In my case, the network performance varies between 78% and 82% at the final location of the device and works fine. The small but fine guide is clear, detailed and contains useful diagrams. The camera control software is intuitive and easy to navigate. This camera also includes options and instructions for use with Revain Echo and Google Home. The surveillance camera monitors the entrance to the side door of the rented apartment and the passage to the pantry. long, narrow steps and down a path between the fence and the house that runs the length of the building. Each spotlight is aimed in opposite directions perpendicular to the house to illuminate the entire path. Since we rent the unit, I just plugged it into an existing outside outlet with an outdoor extension cord. With good fasteners I was able to make a hanger that slid over the top of the fence without sticking nails or screws into it. The brightness is exceptional. It's on the low end for my situation, and the light and amount of space it covers is wonderful. The lights can be swiveled sideways or up and down and then fixed firmly in the desired position. In addition to being activated by movement, the lighting can also be switched on and off by pressing the icon on your mobile phone. For those who want to keep the lights on all the time, the software lets you create a schedule. Due to the focal length of the camera, it's probably best used high up or some distance away from what you want to see to cover large areas. I use it as a door cam as we can't see who is at the front door or who might be at the side of the house. It certainly delivers crisp images for that purpose. (In my case, I wish the camera could pan further left and right.) Night vision works well, but with the headlights on you now have a color image even at night. With the included intercom, you can freely communicate with anyone at the door. There are many features that I have not discussed that enhance its functionality such as: B. Siren, motion detection area determination, headlight on/off schedule, etc. I am very satisfied with the setup, operation and use of this combination security device and look forward to the opportunity to learn more about it. Attached photos and videos show how I use it.
