Size perfect for overflow chamber in all tanks - bought one for my 13 gallon and then a larger one for 29 gallon hex - keeps temp stable and accurate - tested with a digital probe thermometer - the only suggestion i would make would be to put the suction cup mounts on the front/side of the display so you can attach it to the side window of the tank - highly recommended over tubular types - no glass and no maintenance worries in dry environment - has protection - although I didn't have to check this
